      The opportunity exists to develop oil production in the Americas and continue the trend of surplus oil, which was the case prior to the war.

      Also a good opportunity for Arab states to build sensible contingencies against a neighbour that’s going the North Korea route of hitting anything and everything when attacked.

      The Iranian regime might nuke Israel first but they won’t be the only or last target.

      It’s in the cards, but not realistic for $150/barrel more than a month. Emergency reserves would be pumping if it got that high on top of increased oil production would kick in. Yes that takes time, but negotiations would take place to drop the price quite significantly if it even got close to that point

      Ya know what? At this point, and I feel terrible for anyone caught up that doesn’t deserve the chaos/mayhem (which is a lot of people), but let’s have a global fucking recession.

      Especially here in the US, like a great depression level fucking shit show. I want to see a bonus army type assault on the capitol again, white house over run by rioters, especially by the right wing lunatics.

      Maybe then we get a serious progressive in charge, with a bunch of progressive populist support in congress. We can clean house in the SC and wipe out the epstein class, while reestablishing a new tax code that unfucks the past 45 years of deregulation.

      Just like I did during the Pandemic, the 2025 govt shutdown and the 2008 recession; ill assist, volunteer in and support the local communities to the best of my ability
