It is extremely disturbing that Doug Ford’s government can sell high value public assets and do not need to provide even the barest rationale.
The article is right: electricity demand is up. It makes zero sense to sell generating assets at a loss.
Whether this specific deal was corrupt or not, the ability to dispose of public assets without any explanation worthy of the name is fallow ground for corruption to flourish.
I fear the PCO is back to its Mike Harris bad habits.
