Seoul’s rush hour subway is a total shit show. There needs to be a way to spread out demand. If seniors need to take the subway at that time, they can just pay to ride.
If they’re going to start doing changing pricing, don’t punish old people. Just make the standard fare cost more during 5-6PM.
This should be done for their safety. Honestly when i heard about the itaewon crush, rather than somber, i was more surprised that it happened at itaewon and not line 9 during rush.
