Lanxess emphasises that the job cuts are to be carried out in a “socially responsible” manner. This means that employees will be treated as fairly as possible. Possible measures include voluntary redundancies, partial retirement or early retirement, phased redundancies and severance payments. The aim is to minimise the impact on employees as much as possible.“
