  1. Oh my god, he’s just…Markwayne Mullin’s absolutely insane. Oh. They needed someone who’s as willing to hurt people as Kristi Noem. So they replaced a sociopath with an overly aggressive idiot.

  2. And therefore he was confirmed.

Probably going to save the whole day of testimony if he had just screamed „I like beer!“

Another Trump pick that is going to be in charge of the safety of millions of residents who should be nowhere near a position of power? Color me shocked

This guy wants to duel people..
    With guns, I’m sure.

Which I don’t necessarily oppose when both parties are consenting shitbags.

But it would be cooler if we made all the world leaders who make wars swordfight Instead of their proxies.

But he’s not cool and will most likely start fights that get other innocents  harmed extra special double deluxe.

Another slavish, bootlicking, MAGA diehard and Trump loyalist who is utterly unqualified for the position, and probably a little brain damaged.

And now he’s been confirmed as Trump’s next dutiful DHS secretary.

So much for „merit“ based hiring…

There’s every indication that this is the most corrupt and incompetent administration in recent history.

There’s nothing merit based about Mullin’s appointment.

This regime is plagued by rampant cronyism, favoritism, Idiocracy and corruption. Governance by the unfit.

The claim that Markwayne Mullin is unqualified for the position of DHS secretary is a massive understatement.

    – He has the temperament and aggression issues of a child bully.

    – He threatened to fight the Teamsters president during a Senate hearing in 2023.

    > „Sir, this is a time. This is a place. You want to run your mouth, we can be two consenting adults. We can finish it here.“

It was NOT the time, NOR the place. In fact, he later defended himself when he brought up caning and dueling while under questioning; claiming that these archaic practices are precedents that justified his behavior.

    – He also described Alex Pretti as a „deranged individual“ before there was any investigation into his murder.

    – He said Renee Good’s killing was justified.

    – He voted *against* certifying the 2020 election, and had to be reminded that one of his duties as DHS secretary would be to protect election integrity.

    – He refused to disclose foreign trips he took as a member of the house.

    – He was previously under investigation by the House Ethics Committee for multiple conflicts of interest involving his family’s companies. He was also ordered to pay back money he had received through an „accounting error.“

    – He was also investigated for receiving $600,000 in „outside income“ while a member of Congress, which far exceeds the „legal limit“ for a sitting representative.

    – He’s also been accused of insider trading and has failed to disclose stock purchases.

    – Last year, Mullin quietly invested in over thirty companies. Investments that earned him nearly $3 million. This included a large investment in oil and gas companies like Chevron just before Maduro’s capture. Chevron’s stock price surged after the US military intervention in Venezuela.

    – He received $1.4 million in PPP loan forgiveness and had the audacity to condemn Joe Biden’s student loan forgiveness program.

    – He signed a pledge back in 2011 to support term limits, which he never followed through on. He even promised himself that he would only run for three terms, which he also didn’t commit to.

    – Then there’s just his overall lack of experience and qualifications. Which we’ve already determined doesn’t matter when it comes to Trump’s appointments. The only qualification that matters is Mullin’s loyalty to Trump. Something many senators voiced concerns about.

Trump chose Mullin because of his fealty. Mullin is an election denier, he supported Trump’s attempt to overturn the 2020 election, and he has had a personal relationship with Trump for years. He even spent time with Trump on his most recent campaign trail.

Mullin has amplified Trump’s messaging and rhetoric on social media, he constantly attacks Trump’s critics, he has always come to Trump’s defense, and he has played a major role in getting some of Trump’s most controversial nominees appointed.

The bottom line is, Mullin was nominated because Trump values loyalty above all else. He is a Trump sycophant who cannot be trusted to run DHS independently and impartially. He will see to it that all of Trump’s mass deportation policy goals are advanced without hesitation.

Based on what they want ICE to do, he sounds like the perfect fit for the job.

Bro enough of these stupid nicknames for these people. They wear these nicknames as a badge of honor, and only empower them. If you’re gonna nickname them it’s gotta be something that actually portrays how little and fragile these imposters are

  9. Maybe he’ll go on a secret ICE mission and never return. More Trump trash for the dumpster fire.

  10. Fetterman knew who and what her was voting for. For me, that’s just another unforgivable vote.

I guess it’s good for the public record and all but Fetterman has already promised to approve every appointee because his parents who bank rolled his political career as a democrat are super maga.

  12. Republicans will almost always vote for people they can really relate to and who they share the same behaviors and values with.

  13. Trump killed 150 schoolgirls and fck some, why would he loose sleep over that?
