He always has a fall guy.

Hegseth’s makeup and hair gel should help break the fall.

    >President Trump is already trying to throw Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth under the bus for the fruitless war on Iran.

    >“I called Pete, I called General Caine, I called a lot of our great people … and I said, ‘Let’s talk. We got a problem in the Middle East. We have a country … that for 47 years has been a purveyor of terror. And they’re very close to having a nuclear weapon. We can keep going and get that 50,000 up to 55 and 60, there’s no end. Or we could take a stop and make a little journey into the Middle East, and eliminate a big problem,’” Trump said Monday at an event in Memphis.

    >“Pete, I think you were the first one to speak up,” Trump continued. “And you said, ‘Let’s do it.’ Because you can’t let them have a nuclear weapon.”

It’s the classic Trump move. He sends Hegseth out there to play the tough guy on and talk about $200 billion war budgets, and the second the wind blows a different way, he hits the brakes.

This is so fucking dumb but the magats will eat it up.

Its not like the President didnt sign off on this. Or that we have systems to go through congress so we dont make rash decisions like starting a war at 1 am.

Its like if Pete Carroll blamed Russell Wilson for calling the play that led to the game winning super bowl interception. Like, ok, you’re the coach? Didn’t realize that was Russ’s call?

  6. You’d think these people would have learned from Trump’s first term.

Noem was first, seems likely Hegseth will be next, followed by Bondi when the pedo-war is unsuccessful at making us forget about the Epstein files.

Trump rewards loyalty with betrayal – that’s all he’s ever done.

Don’t forget about the Epstein Files, by the way.

Look in the mirror Donny, it is only you to blame. Do us all a favor and quit forever.

I mean to be fair, Hegseth has made countless terrible choices. The real concerning part of this whole fiasco, is how someone like Hegseth can even land in this role. This guy was deemed an insider threat by his own command due to his ‚Dues Vult‘ tattoo. He was barred from serving for the President Biden inauguration. He was ‚willingly‘ removed from service, in our own military and this man has the absolute nerve to get on stage months ago, and talk to all of our military generals, admirals and say he’s coming for their jobs.

Hegseth was again removed from the Concerned Veterans for America in 2016 due to allegations of financial mismanagement, and alcoholism. The guy is a raging alcoholic, a known white supremacist and an overall shit human, yet here he is starting wars for a country he isn’t even allowed to fight for.

The only joke here is that he is in any leadership position. He’s just a fall guy at the end of the day, just like everyone in our President’s cabinet. People who chose money and power over moral ethics.

I am a veteran at the end of the day and I love what my country used to stand for, ideals that seem to be completely gone.

That’s how you know this conflict is a disaster lol. If it were going well he’d say, Hegseth didn’t want to do it but he(Trump) did because he’s a soothsayer who can predict the future. Or some bullshit like that.

Nobody is safe from authoritarian fascists, not even authoritarian fascists. Purges, power plays, disposal of the inconvenient, targeting scapegoats, these are all routine to authoritarian fascist governance.

Hegseth gets to join Noem and learn all this first hand.

PS. Miller’s time will come too.

  15. So Hegseth legacy…Uhh all military personnel must be clean shaven what a 🤡

Ha. The part that cracked me up the most was right at the end.

„They started last … night … a little bit … the night before that …“

That’s Trump’s entire management style and these toadies know that. It’s the cost of joining the crime family.

  18. THEbaddestOFtheASSES on

Trump clearly doesn’t understand that it doesn’t matter if Hegseth is at fault. Who’s the idiot that hired him is the automatic question that will come up next.

Hegseth still can’t believe Jesus was a no show at his apocalypse party.
