What’s the source?
Average is meaningless given the amount of obscenely rich people (billionaires) in some countries
I knew Switzerland was high, but damn
We need a map enthält bread prices in Europe
Bro, gimme PPP map i.e. adjusted for prices.Â
arggggggggghhhhhh…. Norway beat us, this is the end…..
What would this look like on a pre-tax basis?
Where is Malta, Slovenia, Portugal, Luxembourg and some others shown? What year? What source is it?
Not saying the numbers would divert from other sources big time, just inquiring.
Portugal: Am I a joke to you?
Missed r/PORTUGALCYKABLYAT
Where is the data from, is it median or average, from which year? Plenty of countries with no nubers or even missing. Sorry, this is not mapporn but mapshit…
Median salary would be better
Would be more insightful if it also had cost of living too.
Serbia is around 400 euro, 500 on a good day
Promedio =/= moda
Without PPP this is meaningless, e.g. UK and Italy have a similar GDP per capita PPP.

You have switched the salary for Norway and Denmark
[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_European_countries_by_average_wage#Net_average_monthly_salary](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_European_countries_by_average_wage#Net_average_monthly_salary)
Does this account for 13th and 14th salaries and wages?
This doesn’t look accurate for Finland
Portugal be like „can we talk about something else?“
You know that average is meaningless, don’t you?
yeah this map is a big bowl of bs
It’s 850e in Bosnia for example, Croatia is at 1500 so this is probably 2-3 years old
Now show us the median
Averages are skewed.
Average monthly net for France is around 1900€
Spain it’s 1100-1400 xd never 1900 as average
There’s no way that’s the average in the UK.
There’s far too many people on minimum wage.
A really interesting map to make off of this data would be the average net salary as a ratio of the „average market cost“ of a 2br Apartment/housing cost in each of those countries.
Average is useless. Give us median.
I would like to see the median income. It’s too skewed by the super rich.Â
Estonian number is incorrect. The current average net salary is almost 1,900.
