      Of all the millions of things to be pissed about, this doesn’t come close to my radar.

      In fact, “not using the Bible” is probably one of the few things he’s done that I unequivocally support.

      We shouldn’t mix religion and politics, even when it’s the most common religion.

      Why would they even bring a Bible to the ceremony if he didn’t want to swear on it? Simple – to show publicly that he hates Christ and worships his handlers instead.

      He isn’t the first John Quincy Adams took his oath on a law book. Teddy Roosevelt didn’t either, and LBJ accidentally took it on a different book in the aftermath of the JFK assassination

      I don’t think he’s religious, he is just God fearing, and he didn’t want to take an oath on the Bible, because he knew of all the evil he has done or plans to do and doesn’t want to do it in the name of God. I am agnostic and would have no issue swearing on the Bible solely because it seems like the right thing to do.
