      I get that the other guy was probably beyond help and asked to be put out of his misery, but i can’t grasp the reasoning of the other guy to kill himself? The way he ran across, he seemed unaffected (at least badly) by the drone – i just can’t fathom the russian mindset that makes one want kill themselves (while not even being badly injured) before even attempting to surrender?

      Genuine question, is it russian military doctrine to kill yourself in a situation like this, or more likely the result of severe brainwashing?

      Win for Ukraine either way, but just insane nonetheless

      I’m not completely convinced the one who did the shooting was mortally wounded. Possible that he had to euthanise his pal and knew he’d never be able to live with the trauma of doing so, so just offed himself.
