  3. I wonder how many of those “nondenominational Protestants” are really Evangelicals. I wonder why so many evangelicals and evangelical churches don’t admit they are up front?

    It’s helpful to remember that the larger the district the lower the population density within it. All these US House districts have a pretty similar population

  5. It would be cool to also see Christianity vs others/none.

    I feel as though this map suggests diversity where there really isn’t much; the vast majority of Congress are various flavors of Christian. Almost all Christian sects are way more similar than people tend to realize.

    I really dislike maps like these that use similar colors across categories. It’s hard to tell if my representative is Episcopalian, Congregationalist, or Eastern Orthodox. One suggestion is to stick to R,O,Y,G,B,I,V then use hatches or dots if there are more categories than seven.
