      1) US doesn’t care about India. So, this posture is not a deterrent.

      2) This rabid unwarranted aggression just makes the strained relationship with India that much harder to salvage.

      India will easily annihilate any means of Pakistan deploying nukes even at the slightest signs of it. The Indian Air Force already bombed Kairana hills. We can completely destroy Pakistan’s military power the moment we deem it absolutely necessary.

      All the restraint from india so far is because Pakistan govt were never directly involved. Bombing delhi by Pakistan directly wouldn’t have a same response

      Pakistan is watching Iran self implode and lose all of its military capability while isolating itself globally with aimless terror threats and civilian bombing and they’re thinking “that could work for us!”

      Wait… Why does Pakistan even want ICBM capabilities? Especially in it’s current political climate.

      I don’t understand this sudden shit is it’s geopolitical strategies. They played both the Soviets and the US really well in the past and they were also balancing China – US relations really well. India being part of the Non-Aligned Movement is the best thing that happened to them, it made sure that India never had access to modern Western military technologies and never got the full military superiority over Pakistan it otherwise would have. This type of rhetoric undoes a lot of that.

      I’m more worried about their own citizens. Most Pakistani nukes are tactical.

      Combined with the repeated failures of their missile tests with parts falling in balochistan, no second strike capability and inability to land a single blow in the recent conflict.

      The probability of a missile getting intercepted in their own cities is huge.

      Why drag us in? US hypothetically targets Pakistan’s Nukes and Pakistan will bomb India?? Sums about the entire existence of Pakistan. And why does Pakistan assume, India will sit silent if India is bombed. Pakistan will be bombed to stoneage even before those missiles lands, (assuming they get past the air defenses, which they spectacularly failed to do in recent conflict)

      The moment the chances of nuke from Pakistan are real, India will nuke them. India’s „no first use“ doctrine entails nuking the opponent if the threat of nuclear attack on its soil is real and urgent.

      India Pakistan have nearly similar number of nukes. While it’s ma nuclear war will damage India to a great extent, India will make sure to obliterate Pakistan.
