      100%. Electrifying our transportation makes us more resilient, since we won’t be screwed over by a choke point half the world away getting blockaded

      I bought an EV last year and I’m never looking back at gas. The Ford government really set us back on building charging infrastructure, but what’s what’s already built is decent.

      What this exposed is the Epstein class willing to sacrifice the global economy for their imperialistic agenda and disregard for international law, which makes the world more dangerous place for everyone.

      Or you can turn that around and it indicates that an integrated global petroleum system is a deterrent to large scale conflict because of the impact on the global economy.

      If countries have energy independence, that opens the door to war with less consequence.

      People were saying this for over a decade and were labelled by the political establishment as „idealists“ while people unable to plan for the future upholding a broken and dangerous status quo were self-styling themselves as „pragmatists“. Same thing going on today.

      As long as our politicians are in the pocket of O&G they won’t care about the greater economy or our country’s stability.

      Conservatives don’t „waste“ money on investments that take more than 6 months to pay off. Protecting the environment would make the third quarter expenses too high.
