  1. Articles behind a paywall, is the reason export options? TMX is almost full and then we’re called, not much reason to ramp up production if there is nowhere for it to go.

    Just a reminder to those unaware: That is not a photo of an oil spill.

    That’s a photo of the remaining bitumen and sand after most of of the bitumen (oil) and sand has been scooped up and taken to be processed.

    It’s called „the oil sands“ for a reason. If you look along the Athabasca river banks, you can see bitumen (oil) seeping down the sides of the river banks.
