      Those shelters are hardened right? Looks like the building is reinforced by concrete.

      If you wonder what an A50 is, it’s The Ilyushin Il-76 A-50 (NATO reporting name: Mainstay) and is a Soviet/Russian airborne early warning and control aircraft, essentially Russia’s equivalent of the American AWACS (Airborne Warning and Control System).

      How does the before and after pics support the claim of a strike on an A50 AWACs?

      Hanger was definitely holed., OK.

      An A50 (without the dome BTW) was parked at some point near said hanger but is no longer seen in the after pic.

      There’s no scorch marks or remnants of wings, tail or anything like that, however.

      Is there something I’m missing?
