After failing to cancel the Al Quds gathering with a last minute injunction, Doug Ford went on a slanderous tirade accusing the organizers of terrorism and Anti-Semitism. Particularly interesting little tidbits from the judge’s ruling which denied the injunction include the judge pointing out there’s no evidence of either claims and noted that the „evidence“ brought forth was from 10 years ago, showing that it’s rather inappropriate to attempt a last minute injunction. A reasonable person can see that the injunction was a bad spirited attempt to block the event hoping that the organization wouldn’t be able to find a lawyer to represent them in time. With Doug Ford also not speaking out against Hate crimes committed against Muslims leaving Mosques, [and that’s crimes done to people, much more serious than property] it’s pretty reasonable for an unbiased person to see that Doug Ford has anti muslim bias.

Hopefully this case succeeds and damages can be awarded to the plaintiffs as it’s out of line for the government to make such inflammatory and hateful comments in a period of unprecedented violence against Muslims in Toronto.
