      All these “preventative” measures and strategies by Democratic states are great but it’s the Republican run states that worry me, looking at you Texas.

      I can see them easily going along with the administration’s games and not challenging anything or realistically not backing their own counties in challenges. There’s a lot of GOP run states with big blue metros and counties that this meddling could swing Senate and Congressional races.

      It’s the most obvious thing that is going to happen ever.

      This is like knowing that a kid is completely obsessed with chocolate chip cookies and it’s known that if he sees one he eats one. But then you tell him that he can’t have one and leave the room because you have to do something elsewhere.

      Trump is going to eat the cookie. And then he’ll break into the pantry to see if there’s more.

      I think the fact that, as US citizens, we feel we can still turn things around in the midterms and beyond is the only thing keeping us from taking more drastic measures.

      Does anyone else have someone like this in their life? Just like Rump? An awful, ignorant despicable person who lies, cheats and steals and suffers no consequences? I have several at my job and I honestly want to just melt down every time I witness their shit or have to interact with them. But then I’m in the wrong. I’m being unprofessional. It’s fucking maddening.
