„Why don’t you leave Konigsberg??“
„I Kant“
Oh wow, an average Dutch has traveled to many more places than those philosophers
Karl Marx not the best loved German import to the UK
Great map, and terrible color choice for sea…
Fake news, Kant once travelled to the edge of the city.
Paris wins!
Phyrro of Elis travelled a lot (by the standards of his time) as he accompanied Alexander the Great on his Indian campaign.
Marx was a regular visitor to Manchester, and its factories heavily influenced his writings and his views.
Yet this map doesn’t have him there.
Nietzsche was in Nice lol
Immanuel Kant was a real pissant who was very rarely stable
Immanuel Kant is probably wiser than tons of modern-day people that make travelling their personality.
Who’s „Schopenhaeur“? You mean „Schopenhauer“?
Sweden only contribution to philosophy: killing of Descartes.
In regards to the two Greek philosophers, the map is ridiculous: Socrates didn’t „travel“ there, he was serving as hoplite in the Peloponnesian war…
Of course various other philosophers of that era traveled extensively (some were even based in Greek colonies in southern Italy, like Parmenides), including Plato, Democritos and Protagoras.
“I’m pretty sure the land is blue”
Sorrento Nietzsche !?!
In my mind philosopher’s travel the whole world. I am somewhat disappointed
