      They have been saying that shit “behind closed doors“ for years now but they’re still too cowardly to do anything about it because they’re afraid Trump will primary them. Any republican that had any sense of moral decency has been run out of the party long ago. The only people left in that party are either die hard Maga, who have drank the Kool-Aid and fully embrace project 2025 or are two craven to do anything other than kneel before Trump in order to protect their jobs and the $2 to $5 million expense account that comes with being a legislator.

      Fine. But now that Trump isn’t up for reelection, being finished with him means less than nothing.

      Here’s an excerpt from the article from Mike Johnson earlier this year “splitting from Trump” on his demand to jail Democratic members of Congress for advising military personnel that they have an obligation to not follow illegal orders. Mike takes Trump’s dick out of his mouth just long enough to say this:

      ““A line is crossed and it’s very serious when you have leaders here in the Senate and House effectively telling members of the military to defy orders,“ said Johnson. „It’s a very dangerous gambit they were playing. Should they be sent to jail? Probably not, but we need to call it out as being wildly inappropriate.“”

      Right after that, Mike finished him.

      “Most republicans” is two? Johnson and Massie? That’s enough for an article? Massive still votes with Trump. Or would, if there was anything to vote on. Other than the files? And the personal attacks? I’m pretty sure Massie is ok with Trump.

      And Johnson doesn’t work for Trump. Johnson works for the Heritage Foundation. Of course he’s tired of changing diapers. Of course Trump humiliates him every chance he gets. Johnson will never go against Trump into his bosses tell him it’s ok to.

      Mike Johnson believes that god appointed him a modern day Moses. Mike Johnson doesn’t have a bank account of any kind. Mike banks with his church. Mike wears a 50,000 dollar Rolex.

      They’re not government like they are worried about elections. They’re governing on fixing or stopping the next election. The Republican reps are all in. They won’t turn on anybody but the people that elected them. And their fellow Americans. The coup never stopped. The Republicans know this. They know that the only way to stay in power is to back Trump and cheat. McConnell made that choice with the first impeachment. And the second.

      There are many democrats that are also all for Trump because it secures their own little bit of power. Or they’re compromised. Or bought off. Like Schumer and Jeffries and Torres.

      Also…ffs…we have beyond a reasonable doubt that our country is controlled by a secret cabal of savages that use children so they can compromise every check and balance our system allegedly has. Like, the whole system needs to be torn apart and remade. And it actually is being remade. Just not by the will or good of the people and humanity. It’s being done for crazy religious zealots and for the stupidest, dorkiest, weirdest bunch of humans to ever walk the earth, the oligarchs.

      And imo, the bad guys are winning and they’re gonna win. As long as they don’t implode? Nobody is stopping what’s going on. If we have legitimate, free and fair elections in November? Maybe they’ll be stopped. But it should be clear to all now that free and fair isn’t a thing that the right wants.
