Man, these idiots make it sound like everyone would be rich in USA if Starbucks didn’t exist.

    2. Just put up with higher gas prices to support the president’s new forever war. Stop complaining.

    3. Don’t drive your car until gas prices come down. But we don’t want public transportation either, because that’s communism.

    4. Starbucks: mentioned
      Libs: owned.

Of *course* republicans will pay higher gas prices for trump. Higher grocery prices, too. And they’ll do it while saying „I voted for this!“ because they’re in a cult.

    5. „Hey poors, maybe you don’t *checksnotes* contribute to the floundering economy today.“

    6. Imaginary-Ad-7919 on

Who knew, in the Republican party, the economy could be fixed by skipping a latte.

„Whether or not you like it you should just comply and be happy about it.“

Great way to win those voters over.

    9. UsherOfDestruction on

Well, a lot of people just stop on their way to work so I guess they should stay home from work too?

    10. “To Support out men and woman” how we drinking less Starbucks supports the military?

    11. As a retired Naval officer I’m tired of Republicans using the „don’t you support the troops?“ bullshit anytime anyone questions their terrible foreign policy decisions.

Of course I support my teammates and comrades. That’s why I’m against sending them on shitty deployments and risking their lives for corporate profit and a geriatric toddlers most recent hallucinations.

And buy your children less dolls for Christmas and less pencils for school.

Why do they keep wanting us to accept less? Why does MAGA think that equates to freedom? Why doesn’t MAGA realize that the rich are getting so much richer off the backs of the poor?

Why does this woman think a $2 per gallon hike in gas price means „one less trip to Starbucks“ when my commute is 60 miles a day.

The math doesn’t add up. This woman needs to be replaced with someone who knows what they are talking about.

Maybe somebody should inform this senate candidate that an increase in fuel prices will also raise the cost of essential things like food… you know, the thing that keeps you alive.

    14. Cicerothesage on

if a democratic candidate said this, that clip would be on an endless loop on Fox News and all propaganda networks for months. But it is ok here because orange hitler said it is

Tired of the GOP literal and figurative gas-lighting bullshit. The price of oil going up increases the cost of literally EVERYTHING.

    16. FeelingPixely on

I’m less concerned about gas and more about diesel and how that affects domestic transport and increases prices for goods unilaterally.. but what do I know, maybe I’ll visit Starbucks less than the 0 times per year I already do.

Let me ask if anyone here would be comfortable paying even 10% more for groceries or clothing? 25%? And that’s after healthcare, energy and housing prices increases this year? Are your wages increasing enough to compensate? And for business owners, how have your customers been reacting? Are you cutting back hours or laying people off?

    17. Even if that were true why should I? Why should I have to sacrifice my Starbucks for a war I don’t support?

Michele Tafoya’s net worth is estimated between **$2 million and $5 million**.

At the peak of her career as the sideline reporter for *NBC Sunday Night Football* (2011–2022), her annual salary was estimated to be at least **$200,000 to $500,000**, with some reports suggesting it was higher during her final years.

If she becomes a Sitting Senator (Incumbent) her wages will be $174,000

She has no idea what poverty is

    19. I literally only go to work and home now a days because they ruined the price of everything. There is no cutting out trips to places. That happened a year ago. Bitch

    20. so damn crazy the people saying this are the same ones supporting the billion dollar a day war for Israel and asking for $200 billion more. Instead of cutting back on Starbucks, how about they cut back on wars?

    21. Yabakunaiyoooo on

Ahhh this is an age old generational insult! I haven’t heard it in ages. No avocado toast either, right?

    22. Different attitude when it’s not Biden. Under Biden they acted like we were all under a death sentence. Now that we are, they are all flippant about it. Does seem like a cult to me. What has America spawned, and how?

    23. Haha it’s always this smug inconsiderate attitude from these pieces of shits when they’re in power. But we couldn’t stop hearing from them when inflation went up due to the Covid response under Biden.

    24. Reminder high gas prices is not just paying more at the gas pump. Gas prices increasing will raise the price of everything because gas is needed to produce and ship the item you are buying.

    25. Stop voting for Republicans. They only care about the rich and big business. They push „woke“, Christian religion, and racism, to divide us. Tax the rich, they will still be rich and the rest of us will have our lives improved.

    26. If this was a just, regrettably necessary war that had consensus, a coalition, and definable goals, a sacrifice like this can be a small patriotic ask.

This is none of those things and therefore it’s horseshit.

    27. I wish someone would ask her what her advice would be if the president was a democrat.

„All I’m saying is that a young lady, a 10-year-old girl, 9-year-old girl, 15-year-old girl, doesn’t need 37 dolls. I don’t think that a beautiful baby girl needs — that’s 11 years old — needs to have 30 dolls. I think they can have three dolls or four dolls because what we were doing with China was just unbelievable.”

    29. baron-von-buddah on

I drive 50 miles each way to work. It now costs me an extra $50 a week. $200 a month. I drink 0 Starbucks. Go screw

    30. Not saying “as a millennial” here in a way that means others have not or are not going through the same plight, but just putting into context from the perspective of my generation:

We grew as millennials being told about the American dream and working hard to get ahead, but countless things have happened that told us the solution to our money woes is to stop with even the minor luxuries that give us pleasure. No more avocado toast shit once again. Sorry to the good boomers as I know plenty, but man the boomer generation really just needs to let go finally. Feels like we’ll never rid of their cronyism, greed, and environmental irresponsibility. Come on Gen X, I need an adult!

    31. It really does amaze me how 100% hypocritical they are about absolutely everything. It’s like they literally have two opposing comments ready to go for every topic depending on whether they’re defending their guy or blaming someone else. They have zero actual positions on anything. Their entire worldview is based on speaking opposites based on who is in power. And this flies with half of America. Insane.

    32. Traditional-Forum on

Every time oil spikes in price there is an inflation cycle, after the economy takes a hit. Anyone in (or planning to work in) the Senate should know this.

    33. ImpressiveMethod8624 on

Or maybe republicans are soon to be voted out and charged with treason for protecting and helping trump.

    34. JohnnyTight_Lips on

Why do conservatives think everyone is blowing their budget on starbucks??? Everytime it’s the same shit.

    35. The party of personal responsibility – whose actions of a „kinda sorta war“ have directly translated to higher prices on oil, global economic chaos, and an unlimited, unfettered amount of funding upwards of trillions of dollars to keep bombing in the Middle East – says „lol this is on you and your creature comforts.“

    36. The people who drink Starbucks everyday aren’t the ones struggling with gas prices.

    37. called_the_stig on

Hey fuckstick, you said that about the last 7 financial crises. I cant have negative Starbucks. Eventually you gotta do your job.

    38. Why do they all assume we are struggling because we we go to Starbucks. We are struggling because EVERYTHING is expensive.

    39. TerminallyTired on

Why is our spending always the problem? Why isn’t their spending ever the problem?
