    this is right before the second, (& defining) Persian invasion of Greece.

    (arguably, the most important war Greek world has ever fought).

    Weird how they conquered all that land but even with that, they just could not beat that little bit of Greece…

    Quality over quantity some times when it comes to war…

    Funny to think we viewed them as the bad guys, simply because they lost against the Greeks.

    Yet, they didn’t practice slavery and were by most accounts a far more enlightened and prosperous Empire then they’re given credit for, specially by the Greeks.
