For every single „Christian value“ that’s worth upholding, there’s a simple secular argument for it that doesn’t require Christianity. You don’t need Jesus for the Golden Rule, or to value charity and service to the needy. You don’t need the 10 commandments to know that murder is wrong. You simply don’t need religion to have good values.
So when these weirdos say they want to impose their religion on us, rather than making rational arguments for their values, it’s because they’re planning to impose the „Christian values“ that they can’t argue in favor of without resorting to „I think God wants to hurt you, so that’s what I’m gonna do.“
