  1. Well if the Express says it, it must be true. What a fucking joke that publication is. Remind me again, who owns it?

  2. Been saying this since 2022 when Russia invaded. No indy until the authoritarians are back in their own shitholes.

Leaving the UK, like Brexit, just makes us all weaker and poorer and is fucking terrible move.

  4. They say they want to harm the UK. Really Iran just wants to acquire Scotland for themselves for that sweet sweet haggis.

The problem for Iran and Russia is that the Scottish public – on all sides of this debate – are broadly in favour of NATO and the EU . An independent Scotland would still be aligned with the UK on most international affairs . This wouldn’t be as beneficial to Iran or Russia (at least in the long term) as they like to think.

Yay! Maybe people will start to look more at how we’re being influenced by foreign powers! Maybe we’ll start to question why we have so many native people who hate our country and favour foreign ones!

They’d be morons to leave and we’d all be weaker for it. Long live the uk (and hopefully a political party has the balls to campaign to rejoin the eu).

  8. Iran wants what is best for the people of the UK and recognises that it is for the UK to decide its own future. It understands this in part because it has experienced the consequences of others trying to determine its own fate. It is also a highly educated nation.

I don’t think Iran cares. No one does. It’s clearly just trolling.

The Islamic regime currently in power in Iran wants the UK to be divided.

Just as I suspected…everything I oppose is the result of Iranian propaganda!

  12. Well, I guess we’re just going to have to stay manacled to this rotting corpse, then.

I mean, if a smoking pile of rubble in the Middle East wants it then we’re duty bound to cast aside any consideration of our own interests.

I voted for independenc, I was there at George square the day it was announced we lost.

id vote for independence again, I don’t mind the UK but I can’t stand the Westminster posh paedos.

  14. It will dismantle Great Britain, and undo the Act of Union of 1707, but until Northern Ireland politically aligns with the Republic of Ireland the United Kingdom will continue, as will the Common Travel Area between the UK and the Republic of Ireland, which is now 104 years old.

  15. What a Coincidence so does the country who shoots children  & the newspapers that support them

  16. People will look at Brexit and then want Scotland to leave the UK; it’s like a classic case of cognitive dissonance. Joining the EU takes years and years. What will currency be? What would a border look like? From what I see, the SNP does not seem to have any answers to these questions.

I seem to recall a news story back when Israel bombed Iran previously that „suddenly“ a load of pro-independence social media accounts suddenly went dark.

  18. I don’t think iran gives a damn about Scotland unless it’s against the UK during this conflict, meaning that the UK meddling in foreign affairs in the Middle East (historically recurrent) is seen as a threat and then obviously all is permitted, even wishing for that

I’d rather know why so many individuals from professional industries have ties to Israel.

Can we get an inquiry into that?

Yeah, I’m all for Scottish independence in principal and voted Yes in 2014…however the state of the world and Brexit have made me rethink it heavily.
