For a propagandist, this guy gave quite an accurate view about what’s wrong in Putin’s system. However, this very system will make him disappear and the few Russians who saw his videos will be re-brainwashed within a few moments. Putin can only react with repressions to this kind of videos, because if he lets this one slip, others will follow since the average Russian already seems to be fed up with the hardships of war. So goodbye Ilya.

  3. I wanted to say „how can a nation of people be so willing to live under a dictator even so far as hoping he will ‚consolidate more power'“ but then a news popup came up about trump and I thought ‚oooooh‘ T-T

  4. and it’s just have been reported he’s now in mental hospital. I’m not kidding.

  5. They didn’t think twice about blowing Prigozhin out of the sky. This dude has got no chance.

  6. More likely this:
It is an **FSB-led operation**. In today’s Russia, calling for Putin’s trial usually leads to immediate imprisonment unless it serves a tactical purpose.

Likely reasons for such an FSB action:

    * **Luring Dissidents (Honey Pot):** By broadcasting radical anti-Putin sentiment, the FSB can track who within the elite, the military, or the „Z-blogger“ community likes, shares, or supports these views. It’s an efficient way to identify „internal traitors.“
    * **Controlled Opposition:** If public anger is rising due to economic strain or military losses, the FSB may prefer to have a „known entity“ like Remeslo lead the critique. This keeps the dissent within a framework they can monitor and eventually shut down.
    * **Testing the Waters:** The Kremlin uses „test balloons“ to see how the public or the security apparatus reacts to extreme scenarios (like Putin being replaced). Remeslo’s legal background makes him the perfect tool to frame this as a „legal process“ rather than a chaotic coup.
    * **Elite Infighting:** The FSB itself is not a monolith. This could be a move by a specific faction within the intelligence services to weaken Putin’s position or signal to other power players that the tide is turning.
    * **Discrediting the Opposition:** By having a notorious former pro-Kremlin „troll“ use the language of the liberal opposition, the FSB can make those arguments look suspicious or „dirty“ to regular citizens, framing dissent as just another cynical game.

The most telling sign is that Remeslo remains **free and active** online; for anyone else, these statements would have triggered an immediate „discrediting the army“ charge.

  11. Can we stop acting as if it’s normal that Russia kills anyone who has an ounce of critical thinking and pretend it’s funny? All you’re doing is normalizing it.

I appreciate but wish more people people providing translation realize using low contrast colors for letters is hardener to read on a phone sized screen, coupled with a quick speaking pace its harder to be able to follow. I really do appreciate the transitions never the less.
