This guy is being investigated for state secrets being snuggled out and has links to Tucker Carlsen and Nick Fuentes. Not exactly a great guy.

  2. This is a MAGA clown who shouldn’t have been given that job to begin with. Good riddance.

‘Former counterterrorism director’ is doing a *lot* of heavy lifting here.

Kent was among a couple of ideological appointees that were made to placate the fringe far right in Trump’s MAGA coalition (think Nick Fuentes, Christian nationalists, etc.)

While the Director of the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC) used to be an important role with a massive amount of authority, like his boss Tulsi Gabbard’s role as Director of National Intelligence (DNI), Trump effectively sidelined both so completely that reportedly aides started joking that DNI stood for ‘Do not invite.’

Speaker Mike Johnson openly suggested that Kent simply wasn’t in the high-level intelligence meetings—this guy was effectively completely cut out of the administration from the beginning, because like everyone on the left rightfully pointed out when he was appointed, he’s a fringe ideologue.
