They don’t even pretend to not be bias, no other news channel would get away with being this flagrantly in the pocket of one party.
I feel like anyone with a television, a spare 20 minutes, and a lot of patience could have told you this.
Ive seen this comment a few times but not found actual confirmation. Is GB News actually regarding itself as ‚entertainment‘ instead of ’news‘ to get around Ofcom guidelines?
Always has been. OFCOM don’t care or can’t do anything, so theres not much which can actually be done except telling people this, I guess.

It’s literally part-owned by Nigel Farage. Of course it is.
All other forms of media are openly biased (newspapers, YouTube, websites, social media etc.). Why does it matter so much that a TV channel is biased?
Now? I assumed that’s why it was set up in the first place. Channel 5 might be another one. I briefly switched onto Jeremy Vine the other day and the banner asked ‚Would Nigel Farage do a better job on Iran than Keir Starmer?‘ and one of the panellists was Reform spokesperson, Ann Widdecombe.
Rusbridger is spot on! GB News is a Reform UK/ Far Right propaganda outfit, masquerading as a news broadcaster.
I think they are more Trump TV than reform TV. Didn’t one of their presenters salute Trump while on air? I’ve got a feeling they love the USA more than the UK.

I think the headline is a little misleadingly mild, here. This isn’t just Rusbridger giving his opinion in response to a question – the study gathered a bunch of journalists from across the political spectrum and asked them to rate whether GB news content broke the OFCOM guidelines. There was a good consensus that they had. Even employees from the Times and the Daily Mail could see it. This exposes the complete lack of regulation that OFCOM is currently applying to the media. We should all be writing to our MPs about this and raising awareness of the desperate need for OFCOM to be made to do its job.
Not that I recomend looking at their YouTube channel. But their views on there are abysmal.

A GB News spokesman criticised the investigation, saying the findings are…lacking “impartiality”. I wonder if he managed to keep a straight face whist saying that!
GB news it’s not even news. I’m forced to watch it down to my mum the only thing they ever talk about on there is their king Donald Trump, and how all the world problems are caused by the labor party
