      So Kalshi’s defense is over the semantics of what they call themselves… okay, but, everyone who uses it considers it a betting platform, regardless of the bullshit technicalities they’re trying to escape responsibility with. “Prediction market” is just nonsense phrasing. It’s a gambling app. Predicting is what you do in gambling – you *predict* that you’ll win money, even though you don’t have any real reason to think it’s true.

      Your Boy Scout Troop can’t raffle a fishing pole because that constitutes gambling but they can bet the over/under on the NCAA Championship Game.

      It was bound to happen. They have to be taken down.

      These ‚prediction‘ gambling companies are a sham and they WILL use their sites to manipulate everything. Because they have an actual effect on things as the average user is really dumb. They can put a republican’s chance so high that the idiots who look at it would go ‚oh no point in voting since they are gonna win anyways‘.

      And those behind these ‚prediction‘ bullshit admit the goal is do that for everything.
