      This is what I have been trying to say. Their success rests on how well we/our representatives can effectively obstruct them. It is why Trump said SAVE Act is top priority over anything else. It should be as well to us – we need to not let it pass in any form (even „watered“ down) or if they try to attach it to another bill. And the Democrats really need to get better at messaging on this. People actually think there is problem with fraudulent voting or a need for IDs at polls or oversight on the states. This is a red alert #1 priority, because without free/fair elections then America is over as we know it.

      Next POTUS will have to rebuild the institutions, add more checks and balances like term limits and stacking the courts, and then dismantle the POTUS so that they can never do this damage again

      And that’s why our allies will never trust us again . trump showed how easy it was to do , so the odds of it happening again just skyrocketed . Will be something the world will have to wonder and worry about every 4-8 yrs.

      Another article states the obvious instead of laying out action plans to stop or mitigate it.

      Look at this horrible thing we predicted! Um yes many of us knew we were already there–maybe give us resources or action steps? (And yes I have done my own like cancel amazon and hulu and donate to the aclu, give migrants legal resources, and provide low cost healthcare whenever possible)

      Why do these headlines not include the primary agent here: the Republican Party. 
      Trump is the catalyst for the transformation the Republican Party has been trying to make for years. The reason that Trump is able to do everything he is doing is because Republicans with the legal power to stop him are 100% on board with him.

      We’ve never had a President so incredibly selfish he’d burn our whole country to the ground to rule over the ashes before.

      I think what upsets me most is that we’re watching an authoritarian takeover, yet everything carries on like business as usual award shows still happen, people still go to sports games, and life just goes on as if nothing’s changed.

The Varieties of Democracy (V-Dem) Institute at Gothenburg University reaches the alarming conclusion in its annual report, that the US is hurtling towards autocracy at a faster rate than Hungary and Turkey.

      Yeah we know, and they’re *very* busy flooding the zone with scandal after scandal while they hammer through legislation that eliminates our ability to oust them and consolidates even *more* money and power.

      I don’t know what their plans are, but I genuinely think they could be speed running a cull. There’s just too much smoke, light and heat to pretend there’s not a fire.

      Eugenics, gene pools, master races, selective breeding, underground bunker networks built to sustain a world ending scenario indefinitely, talks of Armageddon and the anti christ..

      For fucks sake people. We need to wake up and realize we have power in numbers and that’s *about fucking it.*

      If we don’t come together and collectively stop the raping and pillaging of our freedoms (and bodies) then we will go down in history as some of the dumbest cowards in fucking history.
