Also, meine Verschwörungstheoretikerkollegen, ist Hollywood tot?
Lass mich deine Gedanken hören! Und Sie können gerne weitere Beispiele hinzufügen, wenn Sie ähnliche Dinge gesehen haben.

people get bored, have too much money, oh i know i will make my own soda, or wine, gin etc. Will probably all fail. They themselfves are products when you think about it. They trying to make an easy buck. Plus i would never buy their shit, god knows whats actually in it.
Most of the movies they make these days aren’t very good, I’ve heard people say.
And with certain recent revelations, hopefully, more and more people are not bothering to waste their time and money on Hollywood crap, anymore.
I have also noticed a lot of A-listers in Hollywood shilling for garbage products. It’s weird.
I think it’s a combination of things. One, celebrities have been doing this for a long time, usually in other countries. You’re seeing it more stateside now though. Secondly I think it’s mostly older actors. Less roles for them I think and they are used to seeing the money flow in. So they are saying why not to a lot of deals they would’ve said no to in their peak. Just my observation.
They have staff to pay. Multiple whole careers needing their piece of these people. If they don’t work, they gotta pay out of pocket for many. So when they all heard 50 Cent made more cash of water than anything else he did… their in.
Is Ben’s pop fizzy? Or is it stiller?
It’s everything. There is too much content. People have too many options. Nobody needs to watch preaching “celebrities” who think they are better than everyone. They got overexposed and turns out, they are completely unlikable. Movies don’t make money so the paychecks are declining. They are turning to anything to sustain the money coming in.
Don’t forget Danny DeVito’s limoncello
I personally think it’s a combination of the economy and people no longer being entertained by the circus. I remember a lot of people started boycotting celebrities in general a couple years ago because of the one who dressed up as Marie Antoinette and said „Let them eat cake.“ to the camera then laughed. I can’t even remember which celebrity it was.
I’ve never been one to participate in parasocial relationships so the fact that celebrities are even a thing is strange to me. They’re just people, imo.
Wait do you seriously think this is a new concept?
Celebrities have been selling shit long before you were born. Mr T Cereal, David Lynch Coffee, George Forman Grill, Cheech Marin’s Hot Sauce, Hedi Klum’s gummies, everything the Olsons twins did in the 90s, Shaq’s Fighting game, Korn’s Koffee, the list goes on.
Severance was huge for Ben Stiller. He isn’t broke.
Theyre all pimping themselves out for these low commercials too
Be cool if ppl stopped simping over ppl because they were in a fkn movie
Ben created severance which is one of the hottest shows rn lol
Hanks coffee already on clearance at walmsrt btw lmao
i feel like the movie business died a longtime ago… along with quality music… 2009-2012 i feel like thats when everything peaked and slowly died.
Is it possible that these actors are just selling their AI likeness to random companies to make passive income? This occurred to me the other day after seeing Howie Mandel sell grill cleaning services.
Humiliation ritual
Hollywood had an air of mystery around it before the internet. We only saw celebs in gossip columns or award ceremonies. Now we have access to their private lives 24/7,we’ve come to see them all for the shallow, narcissistic bellends they truly are and people are over their shit.
What’s the conspiracy? Celebrities have always come up with/endorsed products to sell. It’s easy money.
„Hey, put your name on this and make millions of dollars.“
It’s just a lot easier these days with social media and whatnot. If Instagram and TikTok were around back in the day, Marilyn Monroe would be selling makeup on them, Elvis would be selling his own sequined jumpsuits.
Did they run out of money?
Hollywood is still ridiculously profitable. They have a monopoly on blockbusters. If a movie fails, they just write it off on their taxes.
What has diminished is celebrity fame. Loads of people still go out to see a movie just because a star is in it, but nowhere near to the extent as back then.
Saw it coming COVID. Sorry, not sorry. I’m done with OG Hollywood too. You ALL knew about WEINSTEIN. You ALL new about DIDDY. You looked the other way. Get fckd🖕🏾 I’ll never buy anything a “ celebrity “ endorses, and FOR THE LOVE OF GOD…we don’t need anymore skincare products. We get it. Jennifer Anniston lives her life for her image. She gets the best treatments money can buy. Personal chef, trainers, clothes, hair, etc. Don’t worship “ actors“ …Also BUY LOCAL!
capitalism’s last gasp
Every time I see some hollyweirdo advertising product I’m like oh yeah there has to be some weird secret ingredient in it lmao like mark wahlburgers ground meat business…
“Hollywood is dead…” double meaning
Yet I still by Paul Newman stuff and he’s been gone for years. Rip!
Hollywood has not produced a AAA celeb in over 20 years. Leo is the last of the old guard, and nobody came in to take the torch. Hollywood is dead.
You got the President of the United States who is a billionaire selling hats, selling phones and creating meme coins and you worry about Tom Hanks selling coffee? Come on.
If anyone can be a celebrity now, then nobody is.
I think you’re overthinking it.
When you’re famous, selling some type of drink is a very easy, low-effort money grab. Famous women selling cosmetics/clothing is similar.
