    >Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent his congratulations to Iran’s new supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, following his selection to succeed his father, the recently killed Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

    >“Now, when Iran is confronting armed aggression, your work in this high office undoubtedly demands great courage and dedication. I am sure that you will honorably continue your father’s work and unite the Iranian people in the face of severe trials,” the Russian president said in a statement published by the Kremlin on Monday.

  2. It’s a game to the powerful.. just another opportunity to fleece the world of humanity

  3. Not surprising Putin must love soaring oil prices and don’t want it to stop.

  4. To be fair, his country is currently beating the US at war.

And not „we’re bored and want to get out because there was nothing to win here“ beating like Afghanistan or even Iraq, but straight up „shit is all on fire and it’s getting worse by the day“ beating Vietnam style.

How did they not expect the drone spam after Ukraine and Yemen. How did they not expect the straight closure after… Every single NATO report on this matter for the past 30 years. How did they not expect the mines there when, again, it was the go to expectation.

They’re like „we totally beat their army but now they refuse to let us declare victory“, that’s so idiotic. So now he calls the countries he has been threatening and bullying for months to his help and again they’re surprised we say no.

Is that Putin being subtly mocking?

It‘ s clear that Mojtaba Khamenei is now target number one, and rumored to be seriously injured.

Birds of a feather flock together. Both brutal, oppressive dictatorships, led by disgusting individuals.

Which makes Trump’s lack of any coherent plan even more unforgivable.

I’m pro-regime change in Tehran, it would be good for the Iranian people that have suffered for decades, good for the Middle East, good for Europe and good for the world. I stand by that 100%.

But I’m also pro careful planning, pro professionalism and pro having an exit strategy, all the things that Trump-US lacks severely. What did they expect would happen? Of course Iran can not defeat them militarily, so they will use the most potent weapon in their arsenal, strangling the Strait of Hormuz.

Everyone and their grandmother knew this was going to happen, yet the „greatest navy in the world“ can’t stop some speed boats from laying mines and crashing drones into tankers? WTF?

  7. Yeah, keep the charade. He’s the one benefiting most from Trump’s war.

  8. I’m all for a regime change in Iran, because those people deserve better and it would be a blow to Putin as well, but whatever the fuck Trump’s doing will only solidify their alliance.

That fat piece of shit will ruin our lives for years to come, because his fucktard followers can’t seem to grasp reality.

Russia’s unwavering support for Iran which maintains a stable level of zero.

The head of state of Russia’s ally dead. Even more evidence of the worthlessness of Russia’s security assurances. A temporary boost in oil sales that will be countered by Ukrainian strikes.

Yeah guys this definitely looks like Russia is coming out on top /s
