      there is a chain of high mountains on the west. It runs from north to south all the way to Yemen. Climate is cold up high. Look up Hejaz mountains

      I think I always scaled it to like, the distance between Greece to central Germany. Seeing it over western Europe is wild.

      All these size comparisons with Europe just make it look tiny. Just a peninsula of Asia.
