  1. I’ve always wondered: I have two surnames (not Portuguese or Spanish though). Let’s say Bernasconi Abaco. Now, if I get married to someone called Caruso and I want a double surname, will I have to choose between Bernasconi and Abaco or will I have to get called Bernasconi Abaco-Caruso?

I am Spanish and in Spain and other Spanish speaking countries we all have two surnames. I find this discussion very weird

  3. Can they just stop the switching every few years? Just a small numer cares anyways…

  4. not allowed for kids though, which is literally the whole point of keeping both names. this country never ceases to amaze me.

Lol can they stick to something? Seems like this is changed every few years. Don‘t they have better things to do

So, problem absolutely not solved. Why do politicians want to artificially limit possibilities? Let’s just have a limit of two surnames and let people choose. It’s only normal that both parents want to give their family names to children.
