      Any tax savings for the rich just got wiped out by a market crash. The deal was that if he cut taxes on the rich and kept the markets humming he could do whatever he wanted. Starting a protracted war was LITERALLY the only red line.

      The smart people know that regardless of how much money they make on the increased oil prices, market forces will crash the price eventually. In two years we’ll be back to negative value oil barrels AND the stock market will have lost a decade of gains.

      Iran has a population of ~92 million people, the country is 4x the size of Iraq, and there is only one feasible access point to the urban centers. We could have had 2 access points, but Donald Trump surrendered Afghanistan to the Taliban in his first term.

      When you don’t understand logistics, mechanization, numbers, directions, distances, etc – you work yourself into these little situations.

      The orange man and his administration are idiots they were never going to have it easy taking over Iran. The thing I know about the Arab world is that although the people may hate their leadership, they hate the west (esp America) the most and wouldn’t want to be under America.
