      Typical scare tactic for Trump. Threatening in hopes of seeing others bow to his greatness. I am actually not surprised nor shocked at this plot. We know they have no legal leg to stand on but it will be interesting to see how/if he says anymore on this.

      He talks like he’s not answerable to his voters. They are the boss, not him and his minions.

      People have the right to criticise him and if they don’t like the direction he’s taking the country then voters have the last say to vote him in or out based on the facts

      Control the media, shut down free speech, discredit the truth, manipulate the mid-terms, declare various non-existent emergencies to justify your policies. Next comes declaring martial law this summer in order to ‚protect‘ our elections. Folks, the authoritarian coup years in the making is unfolding in front of our eyes.

      Lifting sanctions on Russian oil benefits Russia, who supports Iran and is purportedly providing Iran intel on American targets, just to limit the blowback at the pump for its decision to bomb Iran.

      Does giving aid and comfort to those that aid and comfort your “enemies” count?

      Hitler had a name for this. It was called „*Gleichschaltung“.*

      It’s a strategy where you take control of all independent public bodies that impact on the daily life of your citizens.

      Law, finance, judiciary and media.

      Control all four and you control society. They even had laws that sounded like they were there to make the country better like the „Enabling Act“, or correctly a law to remedy the suffering of the German people and save them. Sound familiar?

      Now most MAGA reading this (if any do) will say „Trump isn’t Hitler, he isn’t proposing genocide and he isn’t building concentration camps to exterminate people.“

      That’s a level of cognitive dissonance that is the same as saying „That’s not President Trump in that picture, as that guy is wearing a pink baseball cap and Trump wears white or red.“ Totally ignoring the rest of the information that tells you it is Trump.

      What is even more cognitive dissonance is how the right of America are the proud defenders of freedom and generally against federal interference on anything. If you’re MAGA feel free to jump in and show off your first amendment rights while they last.

      Man, the people who support this are so brainwashed it makes me feel gross to hear them speak. I used to be a Republican but I can’t support Trump, it’s not the same party as it used to be but so many people stuck this party even though it changed completely. 

      I have tried to bring up clear logical fallacies go people I once respected and their responses were so nonsensical that I was shocked. Before the election one of my friends told me he was voting for Trump because he thought he was lying about implementing tarrifs and it was actually a genius plan I just didn’t get it. He still supports Trump and defends that conversation. I’ve seen a lot of Republicans comment on how mentally ill a lot of far left people are but the truth is that the far right are extremely mentally ill but express it in very different ways.
