is beyond evil. the state of the world is worse and worse for these type of actions.

Hell on earth for these pigs. All for a taste in the mouth?? Ffkking insane and evil. Wake up people. Veganism is a serious red pill.

A ton of documentaries and exposés came out in the late 2000s. Some people went vegetarian for a while, then I guess everyone decided it was too hard and went back to pretending the nightmare factories didn’t exist.

It’s necessary to separate the sow and farrols because she will sometimes unintentionally (or, in cases, intentionally) kill them.

Read about Olivia’s story – this happened at a piggery in Victoria, Australia. But yes, the reality of factory farming is truly sickening

this is why I choose not to eat pork. It’s fuckin cruel and disgusting what humans can do animals.

Why should we be surprised if an advanced alien civilization treated us the same way we treat animals?

Hmm imagine we are being farmed just like we do to animals for their body to consume?

Lots of local livestock producers that you can choose to buy from and not support the big box stores.

  10. Buy local! Just had a litter of 6 piglets born today, they’re with mom in a nice cozy nursery stall in a barn. Mom gets free time to roam the pasture several times during the day. Animals raised in natural conditions is the humane way to go about eating meat. Not some fluorescent hell scape.

  11. IMHO, the most pathetic humans on earth are those who are gymmaxxing or proteinmaxxing and love to denigrate „soyboys“ et all not realizing that ascending Maslow’s hierarchy requires a human to behave humanely and eschew cruelty; adopting a little plant protein instead of chicken and supplements instead of liver is not going to kill you. Sure, it may reduce your life by 5 years but those are the years from 70 to 75. I’d rather not behaving like a cruel a-hole from 20 to 70 for 5 extra years of old age. It’s not hard to be vegetarian if you decide to not be a jerk. Rant over, thank you.

It hurts deep in the heart to see how things are done. Soulless as it gets. Never convince me they don’t have feelings and thoughts or some form of soul. May they get to some better place after this hell. Us too.

During undergrad, I minored in communications. One of the big semester long projects was to create a fake advocacy group and show the class what’s happening through several forms of media.

I chose the farming industry and when I say I have never been the same after seeing some of the farms, I truly mean it. That’s not even counting the processing plants. The abuse is horrific. I wouldn’t even show images or videos in my projects unless absolutely necessary and I’d provide a trigger warning. It’s truly sickening.

I brought up the cruelty of animals that humans find acceptable on another site forum and had people literally laugh at it & act like it was hilarious. We have to share a world with people that think torture, abuse & murder of animals is just fine. Funny even.

    Humans are disgusting.

This is is also very clean for a pig crate. I’ve visited a commercial pig farm production and there was feces everywhere

A lot of y’all don’t understand that this apparatus is to prevent the sow from rolling over onto and smothering the piglets.

  17. Yes Americans are against it yet they keep buying it knowing they torture innocent animals.

  18. In the 90’s, every hardcore and punk show had a table with a TV and VCR playing videos like this. I can’t remember for sure, but I’m assuming it was PETA. Vegetarianism and veganism was and is still a huge part of that culture for my generation and a majority of my friends still don’t eat meat. It makes going out to eat or having pot lucks awesome cause I’m not the only pain in the ass with dietary restrictions so I never have to worry about finding something to eat.

If you need any other reason to not eat pork it’s because they put sodium nitrite in almost all pork which is a carcinogen, they intentionally kill you like they kill them.

    😐

  20. This is basically what goes on in the current American household: parents and children not forming valuable relationships as they all consume pointless stimulation from their screens in isolation and the only time that they’re physically together is when they’re eating. I guess we are what we eat

  21. Some pig experts commented on this video saying that this is because unfortunately mother pigs are prone to crushing their babies. So it is normal in farming to keep the mothers from being able to do so with restraints

  22. That’s why I’ve been vegan for 9 years, I will never want to be part of this fucking sick psychotic abuse of these poor animals. Absolutely sickening.

I worked in a slaughter house for about 9 months. I could tell some pretty terrible stories but also kind of NSFL (i grew up hunting and processing.. industrialized slaughter is a different matter all together. Its hell )

As others have said buy local! I have great joy in beefing up our steers! I get a little sad taking them to the butcher but, it’s the circle of life!

  25. DogfoodEnforcer on

This depresses the hell out of me. Things like this have pushed me to be more aware of what im eating, but its sad it still happens everywhere and to so many animals.
