War seems even more brutal with these fpv drones.

Oh bother.

I’m wondering, and I’m probably being optimistic… but will the easy access to this specific type of combat footage result in less recruitment numbers worldwide? Perhaps even a reduction of armed conflicts? I cannot think of a better deterrent toward support of armed conflicts than to see videos of troops having their bum blown open while trying to get in a hole.

It really takes away from the glorified side of war. I used to want to be in the military, as a naive teenager. Now I’m like, f*ck no.

As macabre as it is, this should be mandatory viewing in school. They don’t have to show the gore.

edit: now I’m just imagining a bunch of teenagers laughing their ass off at seeing someone get their butt torn apart, and completely missing the point. Man, we really were stupid as teens.
