Iran is playing this brilliantly by only blocking US or Israel bound ships.
Hegseth was quoted in the article as saying: “The Strait of Hormuz is open, except that the Iranians are firing on ships. Other than that, it’s open.” He also said they had anticipated everything, but he didn’t say what they planned to do about the blockade.

France is moving their carrier strike group to the region, but they’ve made it clear they are there for ‚defensive escort‘ only. They aren’t going to help Trump ‚Make Iran Great Again‘ by blowing up more civilian infrastructure. This is the first time a major NATO ally has publicly told Trump to pound sand since the war started.
This would really be funny if it wasn’t so serious. After the Orange Clown chastises our trusty allies, he now expects them to pitch in after attacking Iran without consulting with them. He can go fuck himself for all i care! You do you France!

One year Trump shits on US allies and stops helping them, starts a trade war and threathens military invasion of them, the next year he is mad they won’t help him. Any normal person understands Trump’s behaviour was shortsighted and invites nothing but ridicule, unless he humbles down and own up to his bad behaviour.

Good. I hope every single ally does exactly what France has done. Except there isn’t enough slap and spit in the face for my liking. Then mock him ruthlessly for demanding help despite saying mission accomplished then saying they’re close to surrender.
