      It’s fascinating how much communists need a constant flow of capital from capitalist countries to survive, but not the other way around. Almost as if their economic system is completely inefficient.

      Note to American leftists: the embargo prevents Cuba from trading with the US, not with the rest of the world. Also, Cuba’s economic woes predate the current oil restrictions by the US.

      Note 2 to leftists in general: the whole point of communism is to offer higher standards of living than capitalism for the working class, and not depend on capital, especially American imperialist capital.

      People don’t ransack government offices over ideology. They do it when the lights have been out for weeks and there’s nothing to eat.

      Wasn’t on my bingo card for 2026 that both Cuba and Iran would collapse.

      Shame for Venezuela though, what Trump did there was farcical.

      Russia (and the US) are next, but we have to wait a few more years.

      It’s not surprising. They hate America. They also hate the one family oligarchic rule that has stifled the country under a misleading banner of being “communist” for 60 years. I would not be shocked if there are uprisings in the country more frequently over the next few weeks
