    1. I’m glad if that is true. But I don’t know how it will be implemented.

I was just looking at airplanes (as I’m leaving for march break) and decided to look over in Iran on whats going on. One passenger plane right in the middle of the straight.

Air India. I was like WTF, but guess it makes sense now.

    3. Well, India and China combined consume 22% of worlds oil, 20% of worlds oil passes through the Strait of Hormuz. Problem solved. (If it only was that simple)

Iran is looking to come out of this more powerful. If you want oil or LNG out of the gulf you will have to go through them.

this is the reason India is Not aligned with any of the major powers. You don’t know when and who you will need to trade with.

This gives a preview of how the new world order will behave going forward. With the rise of India and China, negotiation and mutual respect prove more sustainable than….firing millions of tons bombs at someone you don’t like.

    7. Smart tactic by Iran

Isolate American and Isreal from allies.

Make countries to choose between going with their bullshit war or prioritizing their own economy.

So is the straight loaded with mines or not because I don’t understand how they r giving free pass to some and not others. Mines dont really care who hits them

    9. Do the envoy has any control over the people who actually attack the ships in the straight?

If yes then good, if no then it is of no use.

Maybe a stupid question, but has anyone ever considered digging a canal through the Musandam peninsula?

I know it would be extremely expensive but seems like a better way to spend money and save lives than invading Iran.

Well, yeah. Pakistan just affirmed it’s relationship to Saudi Arabia, so India is it’s friend.

India puts India’s interest first as they should. S.Jaishankar is an amazing diplomat and representative for India.
