      Perfect. Let’s just grab our buckets and start moving water from the Atlantic to there and the problem should be solved in no time.

      We’d need to accelerate the melting of the poles by burning up all the oil that we wanted to ship this way in the first place.

      If the strait of Hormuz was open we could ship water through it to raise water levels, but it’s not: this problem is inextricable

      Yeah, but that would require global warming, which would require oil… the same oil trapped behind the Strait of Hormuz.

      Good idea!  Why we don’t burn the trees to accelerate our extinction? No humans,  no needs, no problems anymore /s

      This also show why using a ground force to seize the coastal area of the strait would be terrible. You run directly into mountains.
