Sickening. There are too few words to explain how disgusting these acts are. My heart goes out to every single person that is living through this travesty. We, as humans, need to do better. Thank you for your continued updates, fundraising, strength.

I’m sorry for your loss. She seems like such a bright, lovely soul. Taken too soon by monsters.

To be honest, there are so many deaths in Ukraine that my brain can no longer be surprised or feel sympathy or grief for every person killed by the Russians in this war. There have been so many horrific murders that my brain has simply shut down and perceives all the surrounding horrors as normal reality. This is not normal from a human point of view, but it is a protective reaction of the body in order to survive. But sometimes, something happens close to you, something you can’t shut yourself off from and close your eyes as if everything is normal. This girl is a year younger than my daughter and they studied at the same school. At night, when she was at home, a Russian drone fell on her house. I can say that thousands of Ukrainian children are in the same situation. Every day, there is a possibility that some deadly thing could hit the house where they live or the place where they are. It shouldn’t be like that.

Keep up humanising the losses, as sad as it is. After a while people get desensitised to numbers and data, this serves as a chilling reminder.

    RIP

Another innocent life lost. I will never forget what the russians have done and stand for in the remainder of my life.
