It’s going to get worse when no oil is shipped out of the Persian gulf in coming weeks. The world economy is in for a rough time this year, and that’s assuming this war does not escalate further.

Everyone except for Trump is paying for Trumps diversion tactics from his relationship with Epstein.

Come on now, I’m sure the nothing-to-see-here crowd will be along to explain how it’s totally normal that prices jumped up more here.

Tried to order from my long standing supplier yesterday. 8 to 10 day delay, okay. Pay now and you’ll get what it’s valued at on the day, right. Minimum order e500, that was that. Outrageous carry on.

Any chance a protest or something will be organised about this? It’s nothing but government-endorsed opportunistic plundering of Irish citizens.

Edit: cheers downvoter – clearly it’s perfectly acceptable then!

Fucking yanks. We should collectively take away their ability to vote.

Maybe make them into some kind of UN protectorate or something

I’d like to think all the dickheads in Ireland who love Trump have realised that this guy isn’t great for them or the world.

Any opportunity for a price hike I suppose… Getting them to go down again is always challenging.

  10. Called yesterday just to chek price and was told right now is €1,60. per liter but it wil rise again.

Windfall taxes. Only way to stop corporate greed. Any income gained by market volatility should be levied hard.

That money should then be returned to the people hit hardest by the volatile events.

We’ve just run out in our cold, BER F rated rental, that the landlord hasn’t bothered to change to gas despite being in a Dublin suburb with mains gas available.

Thanks be to actual fuck we’ve gone sale agreed and will be out of here soon. I’m not ordering more we’ll just survive until we move out

After reading all the comments I’m holding onto my turf for a bit longer.

Some petrol stations have kerosene pumps. At the moment, it’s much cheaper per litre at the pumps than it is online which clearly shows how greedy these businesses really are.

Get a few 25l drums and go get your own if you’re low.

It’s crazy, radio earlier said 29% increase, that’s bullshit, it’s over 90% increase.

A week ago it was about 500litres was €475.
    Today it’s €885.

Ireland has such a scam culture. Nobody wants to work or make an effort or provide value for customers but everyone wants to charge the absolute maximum the can possibly get away with. It’s like everyone feels entitled to being rich but doesn’t want to give anything back. We all just exploit each other as much as possible. I don’t know why this is part of our culture but it is so exhausting.

  17. Don’t stress. The government are going to do their thing by doing nothing and watching while we are getting fleeced.
