      Honestly speaking, if China invading Taiwan is an existential threat to Japan, so much so that requires the mobilization of JSDF, Iran shutting off the Strait of Hormuz affecting up to 80% of Japan oil import will definitely requires JSDF intervention. But of course, you know it ain’t gonna happen. /s

      Didn’t they already send a team to retrieve stranded people. They talked about it on NHK. Just have them set up flights from a safe airport to standby for evacuated citizens.
