Amazon has issued an official statement after a furious mum accused the AI assistant Alexa of ‚inappropriate behaviour‘ toward her child. According to the mother, Alexa reportedly asked to see what her 4-year-old daughter was wearing during a recent interaction.

Absolute beat up of a nothing story.
1. the kid was interacting with Alexa asking questions and having a back and forward conversation
2. the ‚what are you wearing was in context of the conversation
3. the Alexa+ with the camera specifically can respond to questions about what it sees and tries to get context to conversations
4. the camera didnt activate as the Alexa wont do that when it is interacting with a child.

This is manufactured rage for profit, is my guess.
There’s nothing wrong in the slightest as to what happened.
