Das ENHYPEN-Label BELIFT LAB sagt, der Ausstieg von HEESEUNG sei der „erfüllendste Ansatz“ für alle Parteien

unfortunately, i don’t think anything short of heesung personally laying out the exact timeline of thoughts he’s had over the last few years and decisions he’s made regarding this „choice“ is going to quell the protests, hashtags, and petitions exploding all over social media right now. and tbh even that won’t be enough for those who absolutely refuse to acknowledge that heesung himself might’ve actually wanted to leave/fully focus on a solo careerand wasn’t coerced, forced, or ultimatumed out of the group… i dont trust these companies tell the truth the first time around, so i understand and approve of the backlash for the lack of transparency on a bombshell statement so obviously last-minute, but completely ignoring the possibility that heesung could’ve wanted this is frankly immature at best and parasocial at worst. heesung could’ve wanted this AND the announcement could’ve been botched. those two ideas can exist at the same time. it doesn’t have to only be that there’s obviously a scandal, or he’s being forced out for some reason and this is how they’re going to shelve him without immediate backlash, or he fought with the members and they wanted him out, or whatever else i’ve seen as a sole theory for why this announcement seems so off. please just never forget the possibility that heesung could’ve wanted this, even if it wasn’t in this shitty, suspicious way. truly believing that „he’d never do such a thing and leave his dongsaengs and best friends behind“ is not the flex that you think it is. **petition for the truth. not to control him.**

end of thesis, i really wish they’d just be way, way, way more clarifying with what the hell actually happened in the last week, but obv entertainment companies have never been in the business of telling the truth over ignoring and wating for things to die down, so. idk. it will die down. it always does. but i wish this had been handled better for heesungs sake

What an odd response. There are so many examples in and out of Hybe to make it work, so I wish there was more transparency about why this case is so special. They have to give the fans more than this if they really want them to fully and openly support Enhypen as 6 and Heeseung as a soloist.

It sounds like something came up during contract negotiations, and maybe neither party wanted to be (or could be) flexible. It would suck for Enhypen to have to split money 7 ways when 6 people are actually doing the work, but it would also suck for Heeseung to be overwhelmed with Enhypen activities and have no room for his own stuff.

I remember Jackson stopped participating in Got7’s activities in Japan to focus on his solo career. I think JYPE should’ve never allowed that.

  3. How hard is for belift to give good statement?

To me this reads even worse than other statements.
    It’s giving:
„We concluded“ = belift decided heeseung can’t do the solo music he wants as an enhypen member right now because that would slow enhypen schedules down. So the only other option for heeseung to do his solo stuff is having to exit the group and do solo stuff while the other 6 continue their schedules and the upcoming tour. (Double money for belift kinda)

BeLift is so bad at PR. I find Engenes‘ behavior irritating and exhausting, but none of this would have reached the insanity it has if the timing wasn’t so bad.

Fuck’s sake, I’ve been an Engene for five years and it’s always like this with their statements. Makes me want to tear my hair out every time.

BELIFT never learns. Why do all HYBE agencies under it have such poor PR? could have asked chatGPT at this point

every other label is finding a way to compromise both. and they are in the 5th year of their career, they can slow down a bit. What bullshit is this.

This is not a great statement. I really believe that Heeseung leaving the group was on his mind for a while, I just can’t explain the abruptness of his departure. And that’s what Belift kind of needed to explain, but they haven’t.

This is how absolutely not to do pr statements and I doubt fans gonna accept this response

  9. Honestly I think it’s all a marketing ploy to launch his solo career. People are asking why he can’t just do solo work alongside being in enhypen, I think the reason is that enhypen don’t have the kind of attention and recognition they want, his solo launch wouldn’t have as big an impact without all this drama. Just look how much attention they have gained by doing this – engenes are signing petitions and sending protest trucks, everyone is rooting for heeseung because they believe him to be a victim, cast out of the band he’s the star of. Everyone is now ready and waiting to support his solo venture and curious to see this amazing new musical direction he’s taking. Let’s see how quickly they pump his new solo work out on the back of all this hype they’ve now created.
