so she dosn’t think we should join the war… but she also thinks Stammer is wrong for not doing so…

    What????

  2. On_The_Blindside on

Fucking lying sniveling little shit. She explicitly called for Starmer to „do more than catch arrows“.

Barefaced lying should never be allowed to get off Scot free.

  3. Completely avoided it in PMQs. Every time it was mentioned she banged on about fuel duty instead.

Kemi realises that the Donald has no plan, no exit strategy and no clue what to do next, so she is now busily rowing for the shore pretending she didn’t say we should back the US in its current disaster.

Pity she and Nigel were so vocal in their support its hard to pretend you didn’t say it when you were all over the media demanding we get involved.

  5. She finally caught up with the fact that no sane person in this country wants to join operation Epstein Fury…

You have to hand it to Boris Johnson, when he screws something up it stays screwed up. The Conservatives are a total shambles.

She and Farage are both stealing from the Trump play book. Deny you did something, despite it being on video, enough times so that no one cares to even call out when you lie.

  8. If you looked at the British media last week you would have thought that the whole population supported going to war.

It’s only after these politicians and media baron’s have sensed the attitude of country towards the war and realised they actually won’t be able to convince the people this time. Because for years they (rightly) trounced on tony Blair for joining one. So they just won’t be able to convince the population to do the opposite in such a short space of time.

Now we have both farage and badenoch changing their tune on the situation when last week they were calling for starmers head. They have absolutely no morals and throw theeir beliefs away at the drop of a hat, now claiming as if they wouldn’t have joined to begin with

  9. Didn’t she say that we should bomb missile launcher sites inside Iran? Surely that is war.

Once again Kemi Badenoch demonstrates that she has no politics beyond “opposite of labour”, regardless of how stupid that may be.

It’s crazy how both Badenoch and Farage expect people to not remember just a few days ago

    Full circle.

Last week Badenoch and Farage were berating the weakness of Starmer, claiming we should be piling in blindly regardless of any legal issues or anything but a vague plan of bomb, bomb, bomb.

Within a week both are claiming they were against the war.

Dealing with Trump, Netanyahu and the problems of Iran, Russia, China and others is not easy. It does need a coherent leader with principles and knowledge…not a reactionary that just carps from the sidelines and has no coherent plan

[So anyway, here she is calling for strikes in Iran](https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/ce3gd22x3xgo)

[and here she is at last week’s PMQ’s saying we should take more action](https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c5y4458d9jdo)

[and here she is saying our fence-sitting means we’re unreliable to our allies and that we should be supporting their strikes](https://news.sky.com/story/pm-sitting-on-the-fence-over-iran-kemi-badenoch-claims-and-labour-is-no-longer-patriotic-13516331)

She must be a bit of a thicko if she forgot all that

What?!? I’ve listened to all the PMQs since this war started, and Badenoch has consistently been pushing Starmer to „join American allies in taking offensive action“ by sending in the RAF to bomb the place. She criticised him for „catching arrows“ rather than going for the archer. How is this sort of talk not a call to join the US-Israel war on Iran?

This woman is seriously not right in the head. Her and Farage are both a pair of dishonest, morally bankrupt snakes, and I’m so glad they aren’t running the country.

  15. She was literally on the BBC morning show last week saying we should. I bloody watched her live!

  16. This is the fastest, barefaced lie and backpedaling I’ve seen in recent memory. Genuinely baffled as to how anyone supports this leader or rhetoric.

She and Farage clearly got spooked by the fact that the vast majority of the public are against getting involved, so populists will do what populists always do – fly unapologetically with the wind, utterly oblivious to their prior positions.

“I messed up and now agree with the Prime Minister but I don’t want to say it”

Trump has been taken for a ride by Bibi

I am glad all we are doing is shooting down drones and Cruise missiles, Trump is now dragged into something he does not know how to end, and could cause a global downturn … more than his stupid tariffs ,

Be a shame if it was televised on some sort of prime ministers questions show of some sort

    Lucky that doesn’t exist right…..

  20. TaffWaffler on

Never fucking change do they? Says that Starmer is in the wrong for not joining, then says she never said we should join? So what is it? Is she also wrong for saying we shouldn’t join? Or does she not care either way? Which is also awful.

It seems to me that she just went against Starmer per policy and the when the population agreed we shouldn’t get involved, she carelessly and without conviction changed her ideals on a whim. Coward.

  21. Only_Tip9560 on

Liar, there is no other word for it. Her words criticising the PM for not supporting the US in their preliminary strikes is a matter of public record.

She and Farage must not be allowed to deny their previous hawkishness because they are scared that the price at the petrol pumps will damage their political support.
