      I mean what do we have to contribute anyways? We’ve been relying on the American military for protection for decades now.

      Finally the only thing we could’ve done tbh was have oil ready to help offset shortages in the world but too bad we lack the courage to do this in the light of climate change

      Canada has no reason to be part of this. Especially now with Trump once again mocking the PM I hope the orange man is humiliated.

      but according to trump they already won , and will be winning bigly. So why bother , Carney should just state that as the official position to USA.

      So now everyone can agree right? This is what everyone wanted, an absolute definitive statement? Of course not, now go ahead and proceed with arguing about how he said one thing first and then said something different afterwards.

      It’s very easy to proclaim you won’t do things you can’t do in the first place. Carney might as well say we don’t participate in the invasion of Pluto.
