  1. It’s insane how messed up the justice system is to let two scumbags out on the streets

„Rory Carr has 34 previous convictions and Bruno Tache has 20.

Both men were on bail on other charges at the time of the attack and both were serving suspended sentences for other offences.“

I don’t think jail works as a disincentive to crime generally, especially for people with repeated criminal history, but jesus christ we have to start putting people in jail for extended periods and doing away with suspended sentences

„She sentenced both men to three years and six months in prison with the final six months suspended in light of their relatively young ages and to encourage rehabilitation.“

These utter scumbags are beyond rehabilitation, sickening the amount of previous offences and the amount of violence on just that one night.

    3 years

3 fucking years ah it’s a never ending joke

With sentences this shite I’m surprised the crime problem is not worse

These light sentences need to be protested. This is beyond ridiculus now.

  6. Hate to be the soft liberal here but is 3 years not an appropriate sentence for assault?

Is everyone complaining because they think they were up for murder?
