Getting a tattoo often makes young women feel more attractive, but this boost in confidence does not translate into better sexual functioning or improved body image in the bedroom. A recent survey revealed that while lower anxiety about physical appearance during intimacy is linked to higher sexual satisfaction, body art itself plays no statistical role in this relationship. These results were published in the journal Critical Public Health.

As a straight man, not many things are less attractive on a woman than tattoos.

I didn’t get tattoos for my body image, so no, it woudn’t translate to how I feel about myself in the bedroom. I don’t think about my tattoos 99% of the time.
Going to be a boatload of assholes giving their opinion on other people’s bodies in this one. Most people don’t get tattooed for other people, they do it because they like it. I don’t always like other people’s fashion choices but it’s not my business.

Yeah tattoos make me feel cooler/happier/more confident because they are about me expressing myself. But why would that have anything to do with sex… I dunno its just weird to me

I would be concerned about the state of their lymph nodes if they have tattoos, as they can stain the nodes and possibly cause immune system issues, not something a lot of people are aware of.
