I can’t wait for the post election chaos.
The truth is pretty simple. PiS chose Czarnek to appeal to the voters they lost to Konfederacja and Braun, and to prepare for a potential future coalition with them, especially if this would guarantee a majority
I can understand why: Czarnek and Braun are actually the same – the only difference is Czarnek is less overtly antisemitic. Their electorates are basically the same otherwise and PiS has no interest in giving out their voters for free. Only time will tell if that strategy proves to be successful in stealing Braun’s base back to PiS.
They’re far right, but they care about their public image enough to not support him
Less about ideologies and more about how they present themselves
