    Kann mir jemand sagen, was das sagt?


    Es stand auf der Rückseite eines Fotos der Farm, auf der mein Großvater lebte. Die Handschrift ist nicht die beste. Danke schön!

      Så dette er fra hjemme i Asa men Hjalmar kjenner seg vel ikke igjen. Det er blit nyt stabur og fjøs ved laaven siden du reiste.

      «So this is from home in Asa (Åsa?) but Hjalmar probably does not recognize it. New storehouse and barn (for animals) next to the barn since you went.»

      If you know the name of your family and farmstead I can try and dig up some info for you if you wish.

      Even worse handwriting than me, I only understand 50% of it but not enough to make any sense.
      If nobody else can decifer it I’ll try again tomorrow.
